I was always iffy on that musical, so it was great to get some validation from podcasting royalty like Sabrina Miller. I am continually inspired by each person I interview on the podcast and how the passion for what they do is evident in the way they talk and the light in their eyes. With Sabrina, that was definitely true when she talked about her love of theater, but even more so when she talked about being a mom to the always adorable Jack. I have great respect for all the juggling and work that parents do, and for single parents like Sabrina, I am in complete awe.
Being that this was a shorter episode, it allowed me to reflect on what ultimately leads someone to bet on themselves. In my experiences, the projects I'm most proud of have been inspired by some of the not so successful endeavors, which is why I kick off the episode encouraging you to get more failure in your life. As one of my favorite bands sings "through adversity, there is redemption".
Many thanks to Sabrina for taking the time out of her busy schedule to sit down with me, I learned a lot and think you will too.
